How Not to Diet

By Floris WolswijkPublished Edited 1 min read
In brief

A short, positive 2020 response to Greger’s weight-loss book. I found its advice useful and recorded dietary changes partly inspired by it.

This 2020 review reflects my response to Greger’s book, not a current assessment of diet research.

I found Dr Greger’s How Not to Diet another great book after How Not to Die. It was heavy and thick, but I thought it worthwhile, with good advice overall and useful specifics.

At the time, I made some dietary changes based partly on this book and recorded them in Finally getting that six-pack.

Publisher synopsis

“Every month seems to bring a trendy new diet or weight loss fad—and yet obesity rates continue to rise, and with it a growing number of diseases and health problems. It’s time for a different approach.”
